Realme has officially unveiled a new C series smartphone – Realme C53 – in the Malaysian market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just RM549. Despite sporting a new moniker, this device is essentially a rebranded model of the Narzo N53 smartphone that was recently annunced in India.
Right off the bat, the Realme C53 smartphone features a 6.74” LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution, fast 90Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video call. Flipping the phone over, there’s also a pair of cameras comprising of a 50MP main camera and a unspecified secondary snapper.
Under the hood, the Realme C53 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T612 chipset which will be paired up with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card. To keep it’s lights on, the phone also features a respectable 5,000mAh battery which supports 33W fast wired charging.
As far as software is concerned, the Realme C53 will be shipped with Realme UI T edition based on Android 13 OS out of the box. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Champion Gold and Mighty Black.
