A report that surfaced yesterday revealed the model numbers of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro. While these models are expected to launch by the end of this year in China, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will debut in the first half of 2024. As per a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, apart from these models, the tipster has revealed the existence of an entirely new model.
The Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro reportedly have model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23116PN5BC for the Chinese market. For the global market, these devices have model numbers 23127PN0CG and 23116PN5BG, respectively.
The shortened model numbers of these devices are N3 and N2. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is said to have the N1 model number. All these devices are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which will possibly debut in November this year.
In the above screenshot, the lineup has another model with the N7 shortened model number. He added that the said device never had a previous generation. Hence, it appears to be an entirely new device.
Xiaomi’s competitors in China, such as OPPO, Vivo, Huawei, Motorola, and Samsung, have all launched flip phones with foldable screens. Hence, there is a possibility that the N7 could be the Xiaomi MIX Flip, which could be a clamshell device with a foldable screen. It is advisable to wait for further reports to learn the identity of the mysterious N7 device.
In related news, tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive an early launch as compared to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, which debuted in April this year. This indicates that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may debut in the first quarter of 2024.
