Honor X50 battery size official confirmed

Honor is all set to unveil the Honor X50 mid-range phone on July 5 in China. The company recently revealed the front and rear designs of the phone. Today, Honor CMO, Jiang Hairong-Harrison released a poster to confirm the battery size of the phone.

As can be seen in the poster, the Honor X50 will house a massive 5,800mAh battery. To recall, the Honor X40, which debuted last year packed a 5,100mAh battery and offered 40W charging. While the successor edition will house a bigger battery, its 3C certification has revealed that it will have slightly slower 35W charging.

Honor X50 specifications (rumored)

In all likelihood, the Honor X50 appears to be the final marketing name of the Honor ALI-AN00 phone that was recently approved by the TENAA and 3C authorities of China. According to the TENAA listing, the Honor X50 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2652 x 1200 pixels. The phone will likely include an in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, accompanied by up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The Honor X50 might sport a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 108-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It could come with an 8-megapixel front camera and run on the Magic UI-based Android 13.

In addition, Honor is reportedly working on the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone and the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet, with an anticipated launch date in August of this year. The Magic V2 is expected to arrive in Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 versions. However, specific details regarding the tablet are not known yet.
