Following the success of last year’s POVA 4 series, Tecno is now back with the brand new POVA 5 smartphone that comes with a brand new design language and upgraded hardware. For starter, the phone features a 6.78” IPS LCD display sporting a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
On the imaging front, the POVA 5 has a dual-camera setup at the back that include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a depth sensing unit. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which will be paired up with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. Likewise, it’s also equipped with a respectable 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Mecha Black, Amber Gold, Hurricane Blue. Sad to say, Tecno has yet to announce the pricing and availability of the POVA 5 smartphone at the time of writing.
