The upcoming Vivo Y100 is scheduled for an official unveiling tomorrow (Oct. 27) in China. The company has been gradually confirming some of the key features of the Y100 before its launch. Today, it released the following posters to confirm the refresh rate, RAM, storage, primary camera, and battery size of the Y100.
The official posters confirm that the Vivo Y100 will come equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera that will carry support for optical image stabilization, ensuring a reliable photography experience. In terms of configuration, it appears that the top-tier variant of the Y100 will have 12 GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, catering to users’ requirements for ample storage space. In addition, the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
With a thickness of 7.49mm, the Y100 will be Vivo’s slimmest 5,000mAh smartphone to date, claims the company. Additionally, the Vivo Y100 will feature a flagship-level design with a glass texture on the back and a curved-edge display on the front. The screen is confirmed to support a 120Hz refresh rate. As far as the display size is concerned, it will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
The Y100 incorporates a new Schott screen material that is resistant to scratches and durable. The phone also features IP54 dust and water resistance, enhancing its durability.
The above specifications show that the Vivo Y100 heading to China is completely different from the Y100 available in the Indian market.
