Reports have claimed that Poco is planning to launch the Poco X6 series of smartphones in different markets by early 2024. Reports have revealed the existence of three models, such as the Poco X6 Neo, Poco X6, and Poco X6 Pro. Today, the company rolled out the first teaser of the Poco X6 series, indicating that it may launch in January 2024 in India.
As can be seen in the above image, Poco has teased the arrival of an X-series phone equipped with the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip. The device will be India’s first phone powered by the said chipset, and it will be sold through the Flipkart retailer platform.
In December, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K70e, featuring the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip, in China. It is speculated that the said device may get rebranded as the Poco X6 Pro in India and other markets. Here is a look at the expected specifications of the X6 Pro.
Poco X6 Pro 5G specifications (rumored)
The Poco X6 Pro 5G will have a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It will run on MIUI 14 for Poco UI-based Android 14.
The Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset-powered device may ship with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will have a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
On the front, the Poco X6 Pro 5G may feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It will feature a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
