Last month, Realme unveiled the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ in India. Reports have claimed that the company is gearing up to launch a 12-series phone called the Realme 12+ 5G. It is said that the device bears the RMX3866 model number for the Chinese market and its global version is identified with the RMX3867 model number. Today, the Malaysian wing of the brand confirmed that the Realme 12+ 5G will be unveiled along with the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G on Feb. 29. At the same time, leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared the leaked specifications of the Realme 12+ 5G.

The Realme 12+ 5G will arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOELD display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Under the hood, the device is likely to feature the Dimensity 7050 chipset. It is likely that the topmost variant of the device may offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage.
The Android 14 OS with a layer of Realme UI 5.0 is likely to come preloaded on the Realme 12+ 5G. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The Realme 12+ 5G will measure 163 x 75.5 x 7.9mm and weigh 190 grams. The device will have a vegan leather back, featuring color options, such as green and beige.
