Realme has silently listed the Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition on its official website in China. While the company unveiled the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ in China yesterday, the company did not mention anything about the Supreme Edition at the launch.
The Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition is available in beige and blue color options, priced at 2,199 Yuan ($305). It shares similar specifications with the standard Realme 12 Pro, featuring options for both 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB configurations. However, what sets it apart is the inclusion of a larger 12GB+512GB variant, priced slightly higher than the top-tier Realme 12 Pro+ 5G model.
While all variants of the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ are set to hit the shelves in China on March 1, the 12 Pro Supreme Edition will be available for purchase starting March 11. The pricing discrepancy between the 12 Pro Supreme Edition and the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G raises questions about the former’s positioning in the lineup, leading to speculation that it might be a placeholder listing or hinting at a different market strategy.
Rumors suggest that the Realme 12 Pro Supreme Edition could potentially be the Realme 12 Pro Max, which briefly surfaced on Flipkart in January in India. Leaks surrounding the device have revealed that it will have a 6.7-inch 120Hz curved-edge AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel IMX890 main camera paired with a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope sensor, and the latest Android 14 with Realme UI 5.
However, without an official announcement from Realme regarding the 12 Pro Supreme Edition, it is recommended to take these details with a grain of salt and await further confirmation. Until then, consumers are encouraged to stay tuned for more updates on this intriguing addition to the Realme lineup.
