Last year, in November, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K70 series of smartphones, whereas iQOO announced the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro. Both brands are expected to launch their next flagship phones in November of this year. Ahead of the launch, key specifications of the upcoming Redmi K80 Pro and the iQOO 13.
A Chinese leaker revealed the specifications of two upcoming phones for the Chinese market. While he did not reveal the names of the products, it seems that he could be talking about the Redmi K80 Pro and the iQOO 13.
As per the Weibo post by the leaker, the alleged Redmi K80 Pro will feature a flat display that offers a 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. It is also said to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and a telephoto camera with support for 3x optical zoom.
On the other hand, the iQOO 13 will also feature a flat OLED screen with support for 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset and a bigger 6,000mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging. It will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
DCS said, in another Weibo post, that the development of the iQOO 13 Pro project has been halted, with a nearly 90 percent probability that it will be completely dropped. However, it’s worth noting that the standard version of the iQOO 13 has undergone significant enhancements, thereby elevating its specifications to an unprecedented level.
