In October of this year, Vivo may unveil the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro flagship phones in China. Both devices are likely to feature the next-generation Dimensity 9400 chipset. To recall, the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro came equipped with a 6.78-inch curved-edge display. However, a recent leak by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the X200 will be a compact phone featuring a 6.4-inch or 6.5-inch display. Today, the tipster took to Weibo to share some more details about the phone.
In his latest, the tipster claimed that he had seen a small phone with a flat display in a factory. While he did not mention the name of the device, it appears he could be talking about the Vivo X200.
The Weibo post reveals that the alleged Vivo X200 is a compact phone Xeen that offers 1216 pixels resolution, a 1.5K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen ratio is approximately 19.5:9, and it features well-controlled, narrow edges on all four sides.
The rear design includes a centrally positioned large round camera module that houses a triple-camera setup. This setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a periscope lens offering 3x optical zoom. A previous leak by the source suggested that it would feature Vivo’s self-developed imaging chip.
The Vivo X200 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch curved-edge OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the X200 may be equipped with an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. The other details of the X200 series are under wraps.
