Redmi is likely to announce the Redmi Note 14 series of mid-range phones either by the end of this month or in September in China. After a break of around one month, Redmi is expected to unveil the K80 series in November in the home market. Today, well-known leaker Digital Chat Station rolled out a Weibo post to mention the design and key specifications of what appears of the Redmi K80 Pro.

According to the leaker, the Redmi K80 Pro will have a new round camera module on its back, which will comprise a triple camera unit. Glass will cover the entire back, with a metal middle frame flanking it. The front will feature a flat display with centered punch-hole and slim bezels.

The new leak reveals that the Redmi K80 Pro’s OLED panel will produce a 2K resolution. As per previous leaks, it will be integrated with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi K80 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, set to debut in October of this year, will also run on the same chip. The leaker did not mention anything about the device’s battery, charging, or front camera. However, leaks have claimed that it may house a 5,500mAh or 6,000mAh battery.
The Redmi K80 Pro’s rear camera setup will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with a larger camera sensor backing it. An ultra-wide lens and a telephoto camera will join it. As per previous Weibo posts from DCS, the latter will be a 50-megapixel telephoto snapper with 3x optical zoom.
