Oppo is expected to unveil the Find X8 series of smartphones in October of this year. The Find X8, X8 Pro, and X8 Ultra are expected to sport the same design language. However, it is speculated that the Find X8 may feature a flat display, whereas the Pro and Ultra models may house a micro quad-curved screen. A leaked image of what appears to be the Find X8 has emerged on Weibo. It looks at the renewed camera module of the device.
Purported Oppo Find X8’s leaked image
The alleged Oppo Find X8 features a large squircle camera island on its back, as seen in the above image. The camera protrusion is quite evident and the LED flash can be seen positioned at the upper-left corner. The overall camera module design is quite different from what tipster Digital Chat Station had leaked through a sketch.
The top edge of the purported Find X8 seems to have three holes, out of which two could be a microphone and an IR blaster. The button on the device’s left side appears to be an alert slider. The device appears to have a metal middle frame.
The image also implies that the Oppo Find X8 boasts a flat screen. According to reports, the device will have a 6.5-inch OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Find X8 reportedly houses the Dimensity 9400 chip. It is expected to draw power from a 5,600mAh battery. Reports suggest that the Find X8 and X8 Pro will make their debut in October, while the Ultra model could potentially launch in January 2025.
