At the beginning of this year, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find X7 and X7 Ultra flagship phones in China. This time around, it reportedly plans to launch the Find X8 and X8 Pro featuring the Dimensity 9400 chip in China in October of this year. The Find X8 Ultra, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, is expected to debut in January 2025 in the home market. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to leak the battery size and charging details of the Find X8 Ultra.
In a previous report, DCS claimed that the Find X8 Ultra will have a 6,100mAh or 6,200mAh battery. However, today’s leak claims that the device will house a 6,000mAh battery. In addition, the leak claims that it will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Past reports have leaked that the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will have a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED panel that offers a 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is no information about the device’s front camera.
On the back, the X8 Ultra is likely to house a massive round camera module packed with four 50-megapixel cameras. Like the Find X7 Ultra, the X8 Ultra will feature two periscope telephoto cameras. One of the periscope cameras could feature the Sony IMX882 lens instead of the IMX858.
It will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for security, and it will run on Android 15 and ColorOS 15.
