Oppo is reportedly working on the Find X8 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. Speculations suggest that the Find X8 and X8 Pro equipped with the Dimensity 9400 are expected to debut next month (October) in China. Recently, an image of the Find X8 enclosed a protective case surfaced on Weibo to give a hint about the phone’s rear design. Now, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a new image to give a look at the X8’s front.

As can be seen, the Oppo Find X8 shown in the above images is enclosed a confidentiality case because of which the front design is not clearly visible. The tipster revealed that the Find X8 is running on the upcoming ColorOS 15 UI. He added that the icons have not changed much, but the AI assistant, Xiao Bu, now supports vertical page flipping. Additionally, the company has updated the notifications feature to a centred Dynamic Island-like design.
A previously leaked image of the phone is shown below. While enclosed in a case, it is said to have a large round camera module housing three cameras. The top-left corner of the phone’s back houses an LED flash.
According to recent reports, the Find X8 will arrive with an IP68/69-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis, offering enhanced protection compared to its predecessor, the Find X7, which had an IP65 rating and lacked wireless charging support. In terms of display, the Find X8 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch or 6.6-inch flat OLED panel, boasting a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, complemented by an optical-type fingerprint sensor.
The Find X8 will run on ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. The device is likely to be powered by a 5,600mAh battery with 80W or 100W rapid charging capabilities. It is also expected to support wireless charging.
The Find X8’s camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The Find X8 will be available in black, white, and blue shades.
