Nubia recently confirmed that the upcoming Red Magic 10 Pro series will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. While there is no official confirmation from the brand, the Red Magic 10 lineup is expected to launch in November in China. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Cha Station, reveals that the series will include a new “Ultra” model.
Red Magic 10 Ultra in works
In the above leak, DCS is revealing information about the upcoming Red Magic 10 series, highlighting the introduction of a new model called the Red Magic 10 Ultra. According to the leak, the entire series will feature a large-sized flat display equipped with an under-display camera.
The Ultra model, in particular, is expected to have a particularly large screen, exceeding 7 inches, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, making it a gaming-focused smartphone. Additionally, the Ultra model will feature the industry’s largest huge capacity battery, indicating that the battery size could be between 6,600mAh and 7,000mAh.
The official poster released by the brand today confirms that the Red Magic 10 Pro series will be bigger and more powerful than before. This probably hints at the existence of the Ultra variant.
In the comments section, the tipster revealed that the Nubia Z70 Ultra, another model from the same brand, will have a slightly smaller display, measuring around 6.9 inches. It will also come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
The Red Magic 10 series is expected to face competition from the gaming focused chip. Asus ROG Phone 9 series, which will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The ROG Phone 9 series is set to launch on Nov. 19 in multiple markets.
