Samsung is reportedly working on the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones. It can be said based on recent leaks that the lineup will have three models, such as the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. Now, a new report, courtesy of SmartPrix, has emerged to reveal the existence of a new model named the Galaxy S25 Slim.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may feature 200MP main camera
As per the report, a new Samsung phone with model number SM-S937U has emerged in the IMEI database. The “U” in the model number denotes an unlocked variant designed for the US. At present, there is no clarity whether this fourth variant will debut alongside the S25 series in January 2025.
Reliable tipster Ice Universe has also confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S25 Slim. Additionally, he has mentioned that the phone is equipped with an “Ultra” camera. Unfortunately, the tipster did not reveal anything else about the device.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 200-megapixel quad-camera system. As far as the Slim variant is concerned, it may inherit the S25 Ultra’s primary camera apart from featuring a thinner chassis.
This is similar to the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which features a 200-megapixel primary camera from the S24 Ultra. With slight changes in the display and build, the rest of the specs of the Special Edition phone are identical to the regular Galaxy Z Fold 6.
As far as the other cameras of the Galaxy S25 Slim are concerned, these could be identical to the S25 Plus. To put it another way, the Galaxy S25 Slim might sport the same 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera as the S25+.
