In recent months, Realme has launched the Realme 13 Pro, Realme 13 Pro+, Realme 13, and Realme 13+ smartphones in different markets. A new report reveals that the brand could now be working on the Realme 14 series of smartphones. At the same time, a recent leak has already spilt some information about the Realme 14x smartphone.
According to SmartPrix, the Realme 14 series is planned to hit the Indian market in January 2025. The report states that the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ were initially planned to launch in February, but they are now expected to break cover a month earlier.
The report also states that the Pro series will compete with the likes of the Redmi Note 14 Pro and the Poco X7 Pro, which are expected to launch around December 2024.
Another report, courtesy of 91mobiles Hindi, states that Realme will announce the Realme 14x 5G in December 2024. The Realme 14x appears to be the replacement for the April-announced Realme 12x since the brand has not yet announced the 13x.
The report claims that the Realme 14x may pack a 6,000mAh battery. The device might have a square camera island in place of the circular camera module, but the camera sensors remain unknown.
Given its current focus on the global launch of the Realme GT 7 Pro, Realme is unlikely to reveal any information about the Realme 14 series. The Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered has recently launched in China and is confirmed to hit the Indian market on Nov. 26. Concrete details about the Realme 14 lineup are expected to surface after the launch of the GT 7 Pro.
