Oppo Reno 13 packs a 5,600mAh battery

Oppo is all set to announce the Reno 13 series on Nov. 25 in China. The lineup will include two models, such as the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro. With a few days remaining for the launch, the company is gradually confirming the details of the lineup. It recently confirmed the design, color options, and configurations of both smartphones for the Chinese market. Today, an Oppo executive confirmed the battery size of the standard model.

Oppo Reno 13 battery size revealed

As can be seen in the above screenshot, the Oppo executive has confirmed that the Reno 13 will house a 5,600mAh battery. The battery size has considerably increased as compared to the Reno 12, which came equipped with a 5,000mAh battery.

The company is yet to reveal the battery size of the Reno 13 Pro. However, speculations suggest that it may house a larger 5,900mAh battery. To recall, the Reno 12 Pro available in China also packs a 5,000mAh battery. At present, there is no information available about the fast charging capabilities of the Reno 13 duo. Likely, both models or at least the Pro edition may support wireless charging.

Reports suggest that the Reno 13 will be a smaller model featuring a 6.59-inch flat OLED display. It is expected to arrive in multiple configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. There is no information available about the chip that powers the Reno 13. It will be available in shades, such as Midnight Black, Butterfly Purple, and Galaxy Blue.

The Reno 13 Pro rumors suggest that it will have a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a micro-quad-curved design. It may feature the Dimensity 8300 or Dimensity 8350 chipset. It may arrive in options like 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be available in colors like Midnight Black, Butterfly Purple, and Starlight Pink. For photography, it may feature a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 50-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. For selfies, it may possess a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. There is no information available about the cameras of the Reno 13.
