Honor recently confirmed that it will announce the Honor GT phone on Dec. 16 in China. So far, the company has only confirmed the design, color options, and variants of the GT. Recent Weibo posts released by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the key specifications of the smartphone. Here’s a look at what to expect from it.

According to the tipster, the Honor GT will arrive with a 6.7-inch BOE 8T OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and an optical in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to run on Android 15 and Magic 9.0 UI.
Under the hood, the Honor GT will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The company has already confirmed that the device will be available in multiple configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.
The Honor GT will arrive with a 5,300mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. There is no information about the front camera of the device. However, its back panel is expected to have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The GT will come equipped with other features, such as an IR blaster, an aerospace-grade heat dissipation unit, and dual speakers. It will have a thickness of only 7.7mm and weigh 196 grams. It will be available in three shades, such as Phantom Black, Ice Crystal White, and Aurora Green.
With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard, the Honor GT is expected to come with the likes of the Redmi K80, the iQOO Neo 10, and the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5. It is also expected to rival the Dimensity 9300 Plus-powered Realme Neo 7, which will debut tomorrow (Dec. 11) in China.
