Yesterday, Redmi held a launch event in India to unveil the Redmi Note 14 series of smartphones. India became the first country to receives the Note 14 lineup after China. While the launch event was in progress, Realme released an official confirmation that it will soon announce the Realme 14 Pro series of smartphones in the country. The brand also confirmed a few key features of the 14 Pro lineup.
Realme 14 Pro series coming soon
Realme confirmed that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, which powers the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, will power the Realme 14 Pro+. The Realme offering will continue to feature a periscope telephoto camera, just like the Realme 13 Pro+.
Additionally, the Realme 14 Pro series will have the AI Ultra Clarity 2.0 feature that can enhance the quality of low-resolution photos. The series will also offer AI-based image stabilization along with OIS support.
Realme 14x design confirmed
Although the company has stated that the Realme 14 Pro is on the horizon, it has not provided a specific release date. It is probable that the announcement of the 14 Pro series will occur in January 2025.
As far as this month is concerned, Realme is expected to launch the Realme 14x on Dec. 18 in India. While the launch date is yet to be announced, the company has revealed that it will be available in black, red, and yellow shades. Leaks have revealed that it will arrive with a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ 120Hz display, a 5,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging, a Dimensity 6300 chip, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel dual-camera system.
