In October, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200, X200 Pro Mini, and X200 Pro in China, whereas Oppo announced the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. These phones came equipped with the Dimensity 9400 SoC. Both brands are expected to announce their “Ultra” branded flagship phones in the first half of 2025. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to share key details about what appears to be the Find X8 Ultra and X200 Ultra.
Oppo Find X8, Vivo X200 Ultra key details tipped
According to the leaker, the upcoming top-of-the-line flagship phones from Oppo and Vivo, which appear to be the X8 Ultra and X200 Ultra, will feature a 6.8-inch quad-curved OLED panel that supports a 2K resolution and a single-point ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
While it is not mentioned in the leak, both phones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It seems that the Oppo flagship will support 80W fast charging, whereas the X200 Ultra will offer 90W rapid charging. In terms of battery size, both models are said to be packed with a battery of around 6,000mAh.
To recall, the Find X7 Ultra featured a 5,000mAh battery, whereas the X100 Ultra included a 5,500mAh battery. With the Find X8 Ultra and X200 Ultra tipped to pack around 6,000mAh batteries, both phones are expected to offer remarkable battery life as compared to their predecessors. To put into context, the X200 Pro features a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
As per other leaks, the Find X8 Ultra may debut in the first quarter of 2025. On the other hand, the X200 Ultra may break cover in the second quarter of 2025.
