A Weibo post by known tipster Digital Chat Station suggests this phone will be powered by a new Qualcomm chip, the SM8735, expected to be marketed as the Snapdragon 8s Elite. This would be a step up from the iQOO Z9 Turbo’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.

The leak also hints at other impressive specs, including a flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. To recall, the Z9 Turbo features a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel with support for a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Z10 Turbo will probably continue to feature the same display.

In terms of photography, the iQOO Z10 Turbo is said to feature dual-camera system featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera. It will house a huge 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W or 90W fast charging.

If the rumors hold true, the iQOO Z10 Turbo would follow in the footsteps of the Realme Neo 7, which boasts a 7,000mAh battery. It seems that large battery capacity might become a trend in 2025, with other brands like OnePlus and Redmi also potentially joining the race.

Several brands are gearing up to launch Snapdragon 8s Elite-powered smartphones in 2025. Apart from the Z10 Turbo, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro are expected to feature the new chip. The Redmi and Civi offerings are likely to get rebranded as the Poco F7 and Xiaomi Civi 5
