OnePlus is gearing up to launch its new Ace 5 series in the Chinese market. A screenshot of a reservation listing of the Ace 5 series, shared by Chinese tipster Experience More, reveals that the reservation is scheduled to end on Dec. 26, which indicates that this could be the actual launch date. Apart from speculating on the launch date, the tipster also leaked key details about the Ace 5 series’ specifications.

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will sport a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones will likely run on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
The Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will also share the same camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. There’s a possibility that the Ace 5 Pro’s primary camera may differ from the standard model. Both phones are also expected to feature LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, a metal middle frame, a short-focus fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and an alert slider.
The Ace 5 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and pack a 6,415mAh battery with 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro is expected to boast the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 6,100mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
Both the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are expected to be available in various configurations, including 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The Ace 5 series will reportedly be offered in two ceramic color options: White Moon Porcelain and Sky Blue Porcelain.
