Several reports have been revealing key details about the upcoming Galaxy S25 series of smartphones. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S24 lineup this January. Hence, it is likely that the S25 series will break cover in January 2025. A new leak, courtesy of well-known tipster Evan Blass, has revealed the launch date of the company’s next-generation flagship phones.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series launch date (rumored)
The leaked poster shared by the tipster reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is set to launch on Jan. 22. The lineup is expected to feature three models, such as the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.
The Galaxy S25 series is expected to come equipped with the One UI 7 based Android 15. It will also feature the latest set of Galaxy AI features. Like the S24 lineup, the S25 trio is expected to receive at least seven years of OS upgrades and security updates.
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ may come equipped with the Exynos 2500 or Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, depending on the region. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in all regions.
In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 series will not look entirely different from the S24 lineup. Reports suggest that the S25 series will be a refined version of the S24 series. Speculation suggests that the Galaxy S25 series, particularly the Ultra variant, will be the first Samsung device to support satellite connectivity.
