In October, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro, equipped with the Dimensity 9400 chipsets, in China. The global market has already received both phones. The brand is currently developing multiple Find-branded phones specifically for the Chinese market. These devices are expected to break cover in the first half of 2025. Here’s a look at the details shared about the upcoming Oppo flagship phones.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find X8 Ultra and X8 Mini (also known as the Find X8 Next) will be launching together. Although he did not disclose the launch timeline for these phones in the latest leak, a previous leak indicated that the Find X8 Ultra will follow the announcement of the Find N5 foldable phone.
For those who don’t know, the Find N5 is expected to debut after the Chinese New Year 2025, which indicates that it may launch in February. The tipster has also revealed the existence of the Find X8s, which appears to be an incremental upgrade over the Find X8. However, the specific launch timeframe for the Find X8s remains unknown, despite its expected launch in the first half of 2025.
The tipster also shared some details about the Find X8 Ultra’s design. According to the tipster, it will have a 6.82-inch 2K BOE X2 screen with a micro-quad-curved design. It is likely to feature the same screen as the OnePlus 13.
The Find X8 Ultra will have a metal middle frame with chamfered transitions and a protruding round camera module on the back. The camera lens arrangement, which includes a one-inch primary, an ultra-wide lens, and a pair of periscope telephoto cameras, will be identical to the Find X8 Pro. According to other reports, the device will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a 6,000mAh battery that supports both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
