Redmi K80 Ultra specifications leaked months before launch

The upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra is set to be the third model in the Redmi K80 series, expected to launch in mid-2025. The device is aimed at offering both high performance and exceptional battery life. Well before the launch, prominent leaker Digital Chat Station has leaked the key specifications of the current engineering prototype of the K8) Ultra.

As per the leak, the Redmi K80 Ultra will debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is likely to be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9400. The chip is designed to improve both the GPU and the large-core frequency.

On the endurance front, the K80 Ultra will be equipped with a battery of at least 6500mAh battery. Unfortunately, there is no information about the fast charging capabilities of the device.

The K80 Ultra’s display will feature a 1.5K OLED flat screen, offering a sharp and vibrant viewing experience. The device will have a metal frame with ultra-thin bezels, contributing to its premium build quality. The K80 Ultra will be IP68 rated for dust and water resistance. Additionally, the K80 Ultra will also have ultrasonic fingerprint recognition for security. Considering its high-end features and specifications, the K80 Ultra is expected to be priced between 2500 Yuan ($340) to 3000 Yuan ($410).

The Redmi K80 Ultra will not be the only D9400+ phone to hit the Chinese market. As per reports, upcoming devices, such as the Oppo Find X8S, the Vivo X200S, the iQOO Neo 10S Pro, the OnePlus Ace 5s (tentative name), and the Realme Neo 7 Pro (tentative name), will arrive with the D9400+ chip onboard.
