HTC has officially announced their latest Desire 628 handset in their home market earlier today.
Starting from today, this much anticipated handset will be up for purchase via all HTC retailer stores in Taiwan at a price of just NT $ 5,990 (~$184). Similarly, the device will also be available exclusively from Chunghwa Telecom starting June 2 next month.
In case you do not know, the HTC Desire 628 will be coming with a decent 5″ 720p display powered by a 8-cores MTK6753 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz. Other key specs that come along with the device include a 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP main shooter, 5MP front facing camera for selfies, BoomSound dual stereo speakers as well as a 2,200mAh non-removable battery.
If you’re interested in getting this device, it is now available in both a white/blue as well as a black/orange hue. According to sources, the Desire 628 will only leave its shore during mid-June so you will probably have to wait quite some time before you’re able to lay your hands on this sleek device.
