In October 2024, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200 alongside the X200 Pro Mini and X200 Pro in China. Recently, the brand confirmed that it will unveil the Vivo X200 Ultra in April in its home market. Expected to launch in the second half of the month, it is likely to be joined by other devices, such as the Vivo X200S, Vivo Pad 4 Pro, and Vivo Watch 5. Earlier this week, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao shared an image showcasing the design of the X200S. Today, he released a Weibo post confirming the key features of the device.
Vivo X200S key specifications confirmed

According to Boxiao, the Vivo X200S will feature the forthcoming Dimensity 9400 Plus. Expected to work at 3.7GHz, it will be an overclocked version of the existing D9400 chip. He added that the device will feature an advanced bypass charging system designed to ensure stable frame rates during gaming and intensive tasks.
For display, Vivo has opted for a flat BOE Q10-based panel, which is expected to balance eye protection with excellent visual quality. Additionally, the X200S will include an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for a more comfortable and responsive unlocking experience, along with wireless charging support.
In comparison, the Vivo X200 features a micro-quad-curved display integrated with an optical-type fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it features the Dimensity 9400 and lacks support for wireless charging and bypass charging.
As per other reports, the Vivo X200S will feature up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will support 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device may retain the X200’s camera setup, which includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is expected to arrive in purple, black, and white shades.
