Honor s preparing to launch its new mid-range 5G smartphone — the Honor X70 — on July 15 at 7 PM local time in China. One of the major highlights of the phone is that it packs a massive 8,300mAh battery. Here’s a look at everything known about the X70.
Honor X70 key specifications officially confirmed

According to the brand, the Honor X70 houses an 8,300mAh Qinghai Lake battery — the largest ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. Charging is another highlight, with support for 80W wired charging across all variants.
The top-end 12GB + 512GB model will also offer 80W wireless charging. Despite packing a huge battery, the phone is said to weigh around 193 to 199 grams and sport a slim profile of 7.9mm.
The official poster confirms that the Honor X70 has a flat display and a circular camera island on the back. While the image reveals white, red, and green variants, it is also expected to arrive in a blue shade.

According to leaks, the Honor X70 will feature a 6.79-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. On the software side, it runs MagicOS 9 based on Android 15. The rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel rear sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel front camera. For security, it will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor.
Reports suggest that while the Honor X70 Pro may not be on the horizon, the X70 Max may debut a bit later. Unfortunately, there is no information available about its specifications.
