On July 15, Honor will take the covers off from the Honor X70 midrange phone. What’s exciting about this smartphone is that it houses a massive 8,300mAh battery with 80W charging. While the brand has confirmed these details, it is yet to share other specs of the device. Today, a well-known Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, released a Weibo post to share the detailed specifications of the X70.
Honor X70 specifications (rumored)

According to the tipster, the Honor X70 is equipped with a 6.79-inch flat OLED panel offering a resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels. The screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 6000 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. For security, it is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The X70 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset. It will be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations, including a 12GB + 512GB variant that also supports 80W wireless charging. All variants feature an 8,300mAh battery paired with 80W wired charging.
For photography, the X70 houses a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS on the back, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is equipped with other features, such as tri-band BeiDou, dual-frequency GPS, NFC, infrared support, dual speakers, and an IP69-rated water and dust resistance.
The Honor X70 will be available in four colors, such as Vermilion Red, Bamboo Green, Moonlight White, and Phantom Black—and has a flat-edge frame with a circular camera module on the rear. Despite its massive battery, the phone keeps a relatively slim profile, measuring 7.76mm/193g and 7.96mm/199g, depending on the variant.
