Reports have revealed that Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the Redmi 15 series of mid-range phones in multiple markets. It appears that Malaysia could be one of the markets to receive it, as a promotional image revealing its specifications and price has surfaced on social platforms. The above image reveals that the Redmi 15 5G will feature a massive 6.9-inch LCD panel that supports an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device features the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, 8GB of virtual RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.
The Redmi 15 5G will pack a huge 7,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.
It will come preloaded with HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15. It will also include NFC support and offer an IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
In Malaysia, the Redmi 15 will arrive in three shades: black, champagne, and green. The poster confirms that the device will have an MYR 699 ($165) starting price. In this country, the Redmi 15 will compete with the likes of the Oppo Reno 14F 5G, Oppo A5 5G, Honor X9c Smart, Samsung Galaxy A16 5G, and Infinix Note 50x.
