Vivo has finally confirmed the Vivo V60 launch date. The device is scheduled to launch on Aug. 12 as a successor to the Vivo V50, which debuted in February this year. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed a few details about the V60.

Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo V60 will feature a 6,500mAh battery and a quad-curved OLED panel. Its rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS periscope telephoto camera with 100x digital zoom support. It will be sold in three shades, such as Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray.

According to reports, the Vivo V60 could be a rebranded version of the Vivo S30 available in China. Therefore, it is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It is expected to run on Android 15 and FunTouch OS 15.
Under the hood, the Vivo V60 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It will feature a 50-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (3x periscope) triple camera unit.
The Vivo V60 is expected to be priced under Rs 40,000 (~$460) in India. While the company is prepping for the V60’s launch, the brand is also launching a couple of other phones.
The brand has just launched the Vivo T4R in India and is scheduled to announce the Vivo Y400 on Aug. 4. It is also expected to announce the Vivo T4 Pro by the end of this month or in September.
