Realme will unveil the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro flagship phones in October in China. Both are expected to be powered by the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. Following the GT 8 series, the company is likely to shift its attention to the Neo 8 lineup, which could include at least three models: the Neo 8x, Neo 8, Neo 8 SE, and Neo 8 Turbo. These names are based on the variants offered in the Realme Neo 7 series. Among them, the Neo 8 may debut before the end of this year. Ahead of the official launch, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared details on the display and chipset options for the Neo 8.
Realme Neo 8 key specifications tipped

According to the leak, Realme is evaluating two flagship-grade processors for the Neo 8: the MediaTek Dimensity 9500e (an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9400 Plus) and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The company is expected to conduct an A/B test between these two chipsets before finalizing the choice.
The Neo 8 is said to feature a 1.5K OLED LTPS display designed for eye comfort. It will reportedly include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The battery capacity is rumored to start in the 8,000mAh range, indicating a substantial power reserve.
The Realme Neo 8 will succeed the Realme Neo 7, which launched in December 2024. The Neo 7 came with a 6.78-inch OLED LTPO 1.5K 120Hz display, a Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a dual rear camera setup comprising 50-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors.
