Earlier this week, Honor confirmed that it will launch the Honor Magic V Flip 2 on August 21 in China. The company has already revealed its color options and available configurations. However, details about its hardware remained under wraps. Now, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo, revealing what appears to be the full set of specifications for the upcoming foldable device.
Honor Magic V Flip 2 specifications (rumored)
According to the leak, the Magic V Flip 2 measures 167.1 x 75.6 x 6.9mm when unfolded and 15.5mm thick when closed, with a weight of 204g. It will feature a 6.82-inch LTPO UTG OLED inner display with a resolution of 2868 x 1232 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4320Hz PWM dimming. On the outside, there will be a 4-inch LTPO OLED secondary screen with a resolution of 1200 x 1092 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming support.
Powering the device is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with Honor’s C1 and E2 chips for enhanced performance and efficiency. The phone will be backed by a sizable 5500mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Magic V Flip 2 is expected to ship with Android 15, layered with Honor’s MagicOS skin. The rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, the foldable is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera housed in a cantered punch-hole cutout.
Honor has already confirmed that the Magic V Flip 2 will be sold in options like 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be available in colors like blue (special edition), purple, black, and white.
