Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X300 series in the first half of October. The launch may see the arrival of two devices, such as the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro. Today, the company held a launch event to showcase the Vivo Vision MR (mixed reality) headset in China. At the event, the company also shed light on its innovative technologies, and it seemingly confirmed the camera sensors of the Vivo X300 Pro.
Vivo X300 series camera sensors

At today’s event, the company confirmed that its next-generation flagship series will be equipped with the recently announced Sony LYT-828 and a 200-megapixel Samsung telephoto camera. It appears that the company may have confirmed the camera sensors of the Vivo X300 series.
To recall, the Vivo X200 featured the Sony IMX921 primary camera, whereas the X200 Pro and X200 Ultra featured the Sony LYT-818 primary camera. The X200 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera also featured the same sensor. Therefore, it is likely that the Vivo X300 Pro and X300 Ultra may both feature the new 50-megapixel LYT-828 sensor.
Samsung is expected to soon unveil a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 camera sensor. There’s a possibility that the X300 Pro may come equipped with it.
According to reports, the Vivo X300’s camera setup will include a 200-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto camera. On the other hand, the X300 Pro leaks have claimed that it will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Both phones are expected to debut as the world’s first Dimensity 9500-powered smartphones. While the X300 is said to have a 6.3-inch display and a 6,000mAh battery, the X300 Pro may house a 6.8-inch screen and a 6,500mAh battery.
