In October, OnePlus will announce the OnePlus 15 flagship phone in China. Alongside it, the brand may take the covers off the Ace 6, which may get rebranded as the OnePlus 15R globally. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Smart Pikachu, claims that it will house a massive battery.
OnePlus Ace 6, Realme Neo 8 battery sizes tipped
According to the tipster, both OnePlus and Realme have powerful performance-oriented phones in the works. He mentions that one of them is testing with a battery capacity close to 8,000mAh, while the other has already started testing with a battery that is over 8,000mAh.
It can be said based on recent reports that he could be talking about the OnePlus Ace 6 and Realme Neo 8. To recall, tipster Digital Chat Station’s leak from July revealed that a OnePlus phone will feature a 7,800mAh battery.
Therefore, it seems that the Ace 6 will pack a 7,800mAh battery. Rumours surrounding the device suggest that it will feature a 6.83-inch OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is also said to feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and a metal middle frame.
The Realme phone that the tipster could be talking about seems to be the Realme Neo 8. This phone, which is expected to launch in Q1 2026, may feature a 1.5K OLED LTPS screen and the Dimensity 9500e or Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
