iQOO is expected to launch the iQOO 15, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, in October this year in China. Following its release, the brand is likely to shift focus to the iQOO Neo 11 and Neo 11 Pro, which are tipped to debut in November or December in the domestic market. While there will be no iQOO 15 Pro this year, rumours suggest that the company may announce the iQOO 15 Ultra in the first half of 2026. Alongside the Ultra, iQOO is also expected to unveil a compact flagship phone. Considering its anticipated debut with the iQOO 15 Ultra, the device may arrive as the iQOO 15 Mini or iQOO 15T. A new leak that surfaced today has revealed the battery size of this upcoming compact flagship.
Alleged iQOO 15 Mini to compete with OnePlus 15T
Tipster Smart Pikachu has claimed that the alleged iQOO 15 Mini and the OnePlus 15T will rival each other next year. According to him, both phones will feature flat displays with ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensors and are currently being tested with 7,000mAh batteries.
He further mentioned that while both compact phones will deliver impressive gaming performance, their bezels will not be ultra-thin like those seen on major flagship models, but rather “average.” Based on previous reports, it can be said that both devices are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC. The other details of these devices are under wraps.
These are not the only compact phones expected to arrive in the Chinese market. Later this year, devices like the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini, Vivo X300, and Nubia Air are anticipated to debut with compact form factors.
Looking ahead to next year, compact flagship models such as the Honor Magic 8 Mini and Oppo Find X9s are also expected to launch in China during the first half of 2026.
