A recent report revealed that iQOO is working on a compact flagship phone with a massive battery onboard. While the official moniker of the device has not been revealed, it could be part of the iQOO 15 series and is tentatively called the iQOO 15 Mini. A new Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the display size as well as the chipset options the brand is considering to power the compact offering.

The above leak reveals that the iQOO 15 Mini will have a flat display of around 6.3 inches. DCS revealed that the brand is yet to finalize the chipset and is currently considering options like the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) and the upcoming Dimensity 9500 Plus.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 and the Dimensity 9500 are going to debut next month. However, the Dimensity 9500 Plus that the tipster is talking about seems to be an overclocked edition of the D9500. Likely, the Plus variant may debut at least six months after the regular version, with a possible launch in the second quarter of 2026.
A recent leak suggested that the iQOO 15 Mini will pack a huge 7,000mAh battery. It is speculated that the 15 Mini will rival the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered OnePlus 15T, which is expected to launch around the same time next year in China.
DCS further said that iQOO was also working on a compact tablet. However, it appears that the project has been put on hold, and it is unclear whether it will make it to the market. As far as the iQOO 15 Mini’s launch is concerned, it is expected to debut alongside the iQOO 15 Ultra, probably in Q2 2026.
