Realme is expected to announce the GT 8 series of flagship phones in October in China. Ahead of the expected launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has released a new Weibo post to share the key details about the GT 8 Pro, including its camera specifications.

According to the tipster, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with slim bezels. The screen is said to support a 2K resolution and is expected to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, as per another report. He revealed that the phone will pack a huge battery, which would be under 8,000mAh in size.

He further revealed that the Realme GT 8 Pro’s camera module will be positioned at the top-left corner. The compact square-shaped camera deco will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The setup is also expected to include an ultra-wide camera. As can be seen above, the GT 8 Pro’s camera module may look like this.

Another leak suggests that Realme may collaborate with the popular camera brand Ricoh for the Realme GT 8 Pro to bring its signature “Negative Film” colour style and humanistic photography approach, focusing on natural tones and expressive, documentary-like imaging.
As per other reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. The device is expected to come with other features like Realme UI 6-based Android 16, dual speakers, and an x-axis linear motor.
At present, Realme is not talking about the Realme GT 8 series’ arrival yet. Currently, the brand is set to launch the Realme 15 series on Sept. 15. Therefore, it is likely that the brand may share official details about the GT 8 lineup after the 15 series’ launch.
