Vivo X300 specifications leaked well ahead of rumored October 13 launch

Vivo has officially confirmed that it will hold its next Vivo Developers Conference on Oct. 10 in China. The event will see the arrival of OriginOS 6, which will be available on upcoming Vivo and iQOO phones, such as the Vivo X300 series, iQOO 15, and iQOO Neo 11 lineup. Therefore, it appears that the Vivo X300 series launch event will be held after the VDC. In a new Weibo post, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the key specifications of the standard X300.

Vivo has already confirmed that the Vivo X300 will feature a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED BOE Q10+ display equipped with LIPO technology for ultra-thin bezels. The screen will support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo X300 is also confirmed to feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset. While DCS did not mention the exact battery size, the device is said to have 90W wired and wireless charging support.

The camera setup will include a Samsung HPB 200-megapixel main camera and a Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and telephoto macro photography support. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front camera.

The Vivo X300 will also come with other features, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and a USB-C (Gen 3.2) port. As per other reports, the device will feature a 6,200mAh battery, and its rear camera setup will include a Samsung JN5 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are expected to debut as the world’s first Dimensity 9500-powered smartphones. The above Weibo post by DCS hints that the X300 series will be announced on Oct. 13.
