Qualcomm recently unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Soon after, multiple brands, including ZTE confirmed the names of the smartphones that will feature the new chipset. In October, ZTE will unveil the Nubia Z80 Ultra and the Red Magic 11 Pro series. Well ahead of the launch, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared fresh details about the Z80 Ultra.

According to DCS, the upcoming Nubia Z80 Ultra will be the only flagship phone among its competitors to feature an under-display camera to offer a completely full screen expereince. With support for a 144Hz refresh rate, a 360Hz touch sapling rate, and a 3,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, the Z80 Ultra is expected to offer an enhanced gaming experience.
DCS went to share key details about the rear camera setup of the device. He revealed that the Nubia Z80 Ultra will feature a 1/1.55-inch primary sensor with 1.0?m pixels and an f/1.8 aperture, which should help reduce edge distortion in wide shots of landscapes, architecture or group portraits.
Unlike the Z70 Ultra, this model is expected to move away from the OmniVision OV64B periscope sensor and instead adopt a higher-grade telephoto module, further enhancing its versatility for photography enthusiasts. He also added that the Z80 Ultra’s camera setup will include a new ultra-wide lens, which is said to offer a better user expereince compared to its competitors.
As per other reports, the Nubia Z80 Ultra is expected to carry a large 7,100mAh single-cell silicon battery, significantly larger than the 6,150mAh unit in the Z70 Ultra, allowing for extended gaming and photography sessions.
