Huawei is expected to unveil the Mate 80 series of smartphones in November in China. The lineup will likely include four models: the Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+, and Mate 80 RS. A new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now revealed detailed information about what appears to be the Mate 80 Pro+ variant.

According to the leak, the engineering prototype of the Huawei Mate 80 Pro+ features a 6.88-inch LTPO OLED display supplied by China-based Tandem. It has a quad-curved design with a 1.5K resolution and a widescreen ratio, promising an immersive viewing experience.
On the front, the phone reportedly includes a selfie camera paired with a 3D ToF sensor for enhanced facial recognition. At the back, it is said to sport a 50-megapixel main camera featuring a 1/1.28-inch LOFIC sensor with variable aperture support. The setup also includes a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and an ultra-wide camera, supporting 3P+3P internal focus and macro photography for detailed shots.
The Mate 80 Pro+ is rumoured to pack a 6,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 100W wireless charging, ensuring both fast and flexible power options. Although not explicitly mentioned in the leak, the device is expected to be powered by the Kirin 9030 chipset, Huawei’s next-generation in-house processor. Additionally, it may be offered in both eSIM and nano SIM variants, indicating improved connectivity options.
As per reports, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro+ will debut alongside other models in the Mate 80 series next month. Huawei is also expected to announce the Mate X7 foldable smartphone during the same event.
