Redmi K90 Pro Max display, chipset, battery, camera details officially confirmed

Redmi is all set to announce the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max on Oct. 23 in China. With a few days remaining for the launch, the brand is busy sharing key details about the K90 Pro Max. Today, it released a couple of posters to share information such as display, chipset, battery, charging capabilities, and camera details of the Pro Max edition.

Redmi K90 Pro Max key specifications

The Redmi K90 Pro Max is officially confirmed to feature the same display that’s available on the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Apart from this, it will also borrow the 17 Pro Max’s primary camera.

Therefore, the K90 Pro Max will come equipped with a massive 6.9-inch OLED display that supports a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. On the back, it will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision Light Fusion 950 primary camera, which is a 1/1.31-inch sensor.

The rear camera setup is also confirmed to feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and OIS support. The phone will come preloaded with HyperOS 3-based Android 16.

Under the hood, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. For enhanced visuals while gaming, the device will feature a dedicated D2 graphics chip.

Another major highlight of the Redmi K90 Pro Max is its battery capacity. The device packs a massive 7,560mAh unit paired with 100W wired, 50W wireless, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging.

Apart from top and bottom-mounted speakers, the Redmi K90 Pro Max is also equipped with an additional Bose-powered speaker on the back. It is also equipped with a USB-C (3.2 Gen 1) port.
