Oppo is gearing up to launch the Reno 15 series of smartphones in China. Scheduled to launch on Nov. 17, the company has been gradually teasing the Reno 15 and 15 Pro in the country. However, a new development reveals that the lineup also includes a third model called the Reno 15c.
Oppo Reno 15c incoming
Even though the Reno 15 is a compact phone with a 6.32-inch display, the Reno 15c is also said to be a small-sized phone. It is also said that the device will have inferior specs compared to the Reno 15 and 15 Pro.
In fact, it is being reported that it will be the Reno series’ first low-end version phone in several generations, similar to the older Reno 7 SE. While the Reno 15 and 15 Pro are said to feature a 200-megapixel camera in their camera setups, the Reno 15c, being an affordable variant, could feature a 50-megapixel primary camera. It remains to be seen whether it features a 6.59-inch display.
Oppo Reno 15 series specifications
The Reno 15 is expected to feature a 6.32-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display and a 6,200mAh battery with 80W charging. On the other hand, the Reno 15 Pro will house a 6.78-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen and a 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The series will run on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
The Reno 15 and 15 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8450 chipset. Both devices will ship with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. For photography, both devices will have a 50-megapixel front camera and a 200-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple camera unit.
