Oppo will unveil the Reno 15 and 15 Pro equipped with the Dimensity 8450 chipset on Nov. 17 in China. The global launch of the Reno 15 series is not very far away, as reports claim that it may debut in December in India. A new report by SmartPrix reveals that the Reno 15’s global version will be completely different from its Chinese counterpart, indicating Oppo’s plan to differentiate its regional offerings more clearly this generation.

According to the report, the Oppo Reno 15 5G will feature a 6.58-inch OLED 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and a 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired charging.
In comparison, the Chinese version is said to be a compact offering featuring a 6.32-inch OLED 1.5K 120Hz display, a Dimensity 8450 chipset, and a 6,200mAh battery with 80W charging.
The rear camera setup is also said to be different on the global and Chinese editions. The Reno 15’s global edition will have a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (3.5x periscope telephoto) triple camera unit. On the other hand, the Chinese variant is said to have a 200-megapixel main camera joined by two 50-megapixel lenses for ultra-wide and periscope cameras.
The global Reno 15 will have other features, such as Wi-Fi 7, NFC, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and Android 16. These features are also expected to be available on the Chinese edition. The report also claims that the Reno 15 series will arrive in the global market in February 2026, giving Oppo enough time to align its regional launch strategy and marketing approach.
