Oppo unveiled the Oppo Pad 5 powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus in October alongside the Find X9 series. However, it appears the company is not done yet with the Oppo Pad Air 3 lineup. A new leak now suggests that the Oppo Pad Air 3 could be incoming, adding another model to Oppo’s expanding tablet portfolio.
Oppo Pad Air 3 leaked specifications
According to tipster Bald Panda, the Oppo Pad Air 3 is expected to feature a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 2.9K resolution. The display may reach up to 900 nits of brightness and support Dolby Vision. The leak also indicates that the tablet may run on the Dimensity 7300 chipset and carry a sizeable 10050mAh battery with support for 33W charging. The device is tipped to arrive in black and purple color variants.
The leaked specifications strongly suggest that the Oppo Pad Air 3 could be based on the upcoming OnePlus Pad Go 2. This is unsurprising, as the Oppo Pad Air 2 from late 2023 was essentially a rebranded OnePlus Pad Go for the Chinese market.
The similarities in display size, resolution, brightness and battery configuration further reinforce the possibility that Oppo may once again adopt the OnePlus design for its local release.
OnePlus Pad Go 2 specifications
The OnePlus Pad Go 2, which is set to go officially on Dec. 17, will house a 12.1-inch screen with a 2.8K resolution, 900nits brightness, Dolby Vision and support for the first stylus designed for the Go series.
OnePlus is also introducing its Open Canvas software, which enhances multitasking by allowing seamless switching between windows and more flexible split screen layouts. The device will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and backed by a 10050mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
