Honor is expected to soon unveil the Honor Magic 8 RSR flagship phone in China. It will be an enhanced version of the Magic 8 Pro, while differentiating itself with a more premium design. An AI-processed image of the Magic 8 RSR that has emerged on Weibo has revealed its design for the first time.

The above image shared by the tipster Digital Chat Station showcases a squircle camera module instead of the hexagonal design that was seen on the previous generation. The vertical Porsche Design branding can be seen below the camera module. Apart from this purple edition, the phone is also expected to arrive in a grey version.
The tipster revealed that the Magic 8 RSR has a metal frame and a dedicated camera shutter button. The phone is tipped to pack a 7,200mAh battery with 120W fast charging. On the camera side, it is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, highlighted by a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with an 85mm focal length and an f/2.6 aperture, along with a main camera featuring an f/1.6 aperture.
Previous reports have revealed that the Magic 8 RSR will feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50R primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It may feature an autofocus-enabled 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The Honor Magic 8 RSR is expected to feature a 6.71-inch LTPO OLED screen with a quad-curved design. The screen is expected to support a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and also have sensors for 3D face scanning.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is expected to power the device. It is also expected to come with other features like Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top and 50W wireless charging.
