Motorola Edge 70 Fusion full specs leaked well before official announcement

Motorola has been consistently launching new phones over the past few months. A new development reveals that the company could be gearing up to launch the Edge 70 Fusion as a successor to last year’s Edge 60 Fusion. While the launch date is still a mystery, veteran leaker Evan Blass has revealed almost everything about the device’s specifications.

As per the leak, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a quad-curved design. It will support a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the screen will also offer 5,200 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Edge 70 Fusion will feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This suggests that Motorola has decided to power the device with a Qualcomm processor instead of a MediaTek one. To recall, the Edge 60 Fusion featured a Dimensity 7400 SoC.

The Edge 70 Fusion is expected to arrive in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, both offering 256GB of built-in storage. It is expected to house a 7,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. It will come with Android 16 preinstalled and could be entitled to receive three OS upgrades.

For selfies, the Edge 70 Fusion will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. Its rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia sensor, but there is no information about its auxiliary cameras.

In terms of durability, the Edge 70 Fusion will have Gorilla Glass 7i protection for the display. It will also feature MIL-STD-810H-grade certification and an IP68/69-rated dust- and water-resistant chassis. Its rear panel is said to be equipped with linen- and nylon-inspired material. While the design of the phone remains under wraps, it is expected to be similar to the Edge 70.

The device will arrive in multiple Pantone colours, such as Orient Blue, Sporting Green, Blue Surf, Country Air, and Silhouette. At present, there is no information about the Edge 70 Fusion’s pricing.
