Yesterday, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed key details about the Redmi K Pad 2. The leak also revealed that it may debut in May or June alongside the Redmi K90 Ultra. Today, the tipster released a new Weibo post to share new details about the K90 Ultra.
Redmi K90 Ultra specifications (rumored)
As per the new leak, the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset. Previous generations have featured overclocked Dimensity 9-series chips with “Plus” branding, but now that the Dimensity 9500+ has reportedly been cancelled, it appears that the K90 Ultra will have the Dimensity 9500 chip onboard.
The K90 Ultra is also tipped to pack a huge battery of around 8,500mAh capacity, which may support 100W fast charging. The tipster added that the device will have an ultra-high refresh rate screen, but the major attraction of this phone will be the inclusion of a built-in cooling fan, a first-ever on a Xiaomi phone.
The tipster has previously revealed that the Redmi K90 Ultra will be equipped with a massive 6.8-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on Android 16 with a layer of Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 UI on top.
The K90 Ultra is also rumoured to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, a metal middle frame, and an IP68/69-rated chassis. Like previous generations, the K90 Ultra may remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, speculation is rife that a modified version of this phone may launch as the Xiaomi 17T Pro for the global market.
