Vivo is expected to hold a major launch event in China later this month, where the Vivo X300 Ultra is likely to take center stage. The company is also anticipated to introduce several other products, including the Vivo X300 Max, Vivo Pad 6 Pro, and a new vlogging camera alongside the X300 Ultra. However, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao has now clarified that the device widely referred to as the X300 Max by the rumor mill will officially launch as the Vivo X300s.
Vivo X300s key details confirmed
The Vivo X300s will arrive as a larger and enhanced version of the standard X300. It is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch BOE Q10+ display. The screen will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, which will bring support for 144fps on some MOBA titles. Additionally, the screen will have Zeiss color tuning and circular polarization technology for eye care.
For an enhanced gaming experience, the Vivo X300s will arrive with dual symmetric 115 speakers, which were also seen on the iQOO 15. It will also feature the largest and most powerful 4D vibration ever offered on an X-series phone.
While the above details do not say anything about the Vivo X300s’ camera setup, Boxiao has confirmed that it will feature a Zeiss 200-megapixel image sensor. While he did not share any other information about the device’s cameras, rumors suggest that it may include a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The Vivo X300s may feature the Dimensity 9500 under the hood. It may pack a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, OriginOS 6-based Android 16, and an IP68/69 rating.
